→*♪ About the asterisk, I will be explaining those below. • When Russia met Georgia, his hair was about jaw length because he been growing his hair to be like Mongolia until Persia burned his capital down. Ivan mistook a young Giorgi for a girl since he did not speak only nodded, so he dubbed him Alisa which is the Russian version of Alice. Pronounced Uh-lee-suh in my mind. •Mikheil Saakashvili claimed at one point red roses reminded him of his home country, which in turn sparked the idea of them being the unofficial national flower. •Giorgi exaggerates his height and will say he is 5'11". •I don't know if this is correct, I know Grigol Mgaloblishvili works as Georgia's NATO representative. (Still confused as to why they have a representative when they weren't accepted into NATO yet.) •I am not sure this is correct.
↑Hobbies↓ ↑↓Hunting ↑↓Wandering about, he likes to drop in to see Russia sometime to ask him for his land back. ↑↓Sleeping, Russia had called him cat-like once with his unusual sleeping habits. ↑↓He doesn't do much.
○Attire○ ◌Normal≈ He has two or three normal outfits, two of which; a formal pale red choka (he wears it a lot for it to be formal.) or a black long sleeve shirt and a pair of grey coloured jeans ◌Morning≈ Giorgi seldom sleeps fully clothed, he usually is in his boxers or boxers and a pair of sweatpants in the mornings ◌Afternoon≈ Office clothes, required by lord ass face himself, Mikheil Saakashvili; Georgia dislikes them very much and usually resorts to a button down cotton shirt and black slacks ◌Evening≈ either his boxers (and if he feels like it, the sweatpants) or he just didn't care and decided to crash out in his work clothes ◌History◌ The nation of Georgia was first unified as a kingdom under the Bagrationi dynasty in the 9th to 10th century, arising from a number of predecessor states of ancient Colchis and Iberia. The kingdom of Georgia flourished during the 10th to 12th centuries, and fell to the Mongol invasions of Georgia and Armenia by 1243, and after a brief reunion under George V of Georgia to the Timurid Empire. By 1490, Georgia was fragmented into a number of petty kingdoms and principalities, which throughout the Early Modern period struggled to maintain their autonomy against Safavid and Ottoman domination until Georgia was finally annexed by the Russian Empire in 1801. After a brief bid for independence with the Democratic Republic of Georgia of 1918–1921, Georgia was part of the Transcaucasia Socialist Federative Soviet Republic from 1922 to 1936, and then formed the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic until the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
The current Republic of Georgia has been independent since 1991. The first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia stoked Georgian nationalism and vowed to assert Tbilisi's authority over Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Gamsakhurdia was deposed in a bloody coup d'état within the year and the country became embroiled in a bitter civil war, which lasted until 1995. Supported by Russia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia achieved de facto independence from Georgia. The Rose Revolution forced Eduard Shevardnadze to resign in 2003. The new government under Mikheil Saakashvili (Read as: evil man that the roleplayer dislikes greatly) prevented the secession of a third breakaway republic in the Ajaria Crisis of 2004, but the conflict with Abkhazia and South Ossetia led to the 2008 Russo-Georgian War and tensions with Russia remain unresolved. | |
